My Basketball - Grades 3-6
Grades 3 to 6 Sessions
MY (Medicine Hat Youth) Basketball is a program designed to introduce the sport to children in Grades 3 to 6 and is open to all students in Medicine Hat, Redcliff, Irvine and the surrounding area. This co-educational program consists of two components.
The Instructional Component is a six-week program with two one-hour sessions per week. Each session is designed to introduce and develop the fundamental technical and athletic skills to play the game of basketball. Instruction, drills and modified games provide a variety of learning experiences to accentuate and accelerate skill acquisition.
The Games Component is now part of Medicine Hat Community Basketball Association (MHCBA). Each participant practices and plays with the same team throughout the four-month schedule. Each team practices and plays once per week. Instructional Component participants are given priority when registering for the MHCBA league.
A discount is provided when registering for both sessions concurrently. Please check below for times and locations of each session.

All of our sessions are eligible for Kidsport and/or Jumpstart subsidies.

Payment Details
Cost: $100 MY Basketball Instructional Program only
(includes basketball and reversible jersey)
or for concurrent registration:
Cost: $250 MY Basketball Instructional Program AND Medicine Hat Community Basketball Association League.
(includes uniform, basketball and reversible jersey)
Payment is collected on the first day of the registered session. Cheques should be made payable to "MY Basketball".
